I ordered three pairs of Dr. Socko socks because I am scheduled to have surgery in mid-January. I know I'll be in the hospital for at least 3 days, and I will have to walk as part of my recovery. I have tried out the socks at home, and love 'em. They are soft, stretchy, and the grippies really grip. I like the fun colors and words on the socks. I also bought three pair for a friend who will be having surgery in February, and she likes them too. If you are going to spend time in the hospital, or know someone else who is stuck there, Dr. Socko will help everyone feel better.
My legs would hurt so bad everyday by the time for bed I would cry or can't sleep because of the pain. I tried everything from pain pills, pain cream. This was the first time compression socks has worked on me . So happy I got a pair. Now I have 4 more coming in the mail soon.
I really like these compression socks!! The socks are very soft but has nice compression. They don't strangle the back of my knees instead of that "I have a big rubber band around my knees"
The socks are soft and very squishy feeling. They are a Christmas present for my youngest daughter who just finished radiation treatment for her breast cancer. I think she will love them
Compared to the socks I have previously worn, these socks are so easy to get on!
In addition they are warm, comfortable and cute, everyone mentions them and says okay okay, I won't steal your pen. :)
They are the perfect compression for me, light but do the job for me. No more swollen ankles.
I now have 5 pairs and would order more if there were more in darker colors.
Thank you!
I like the socks. However, I wish they came in sizes for people with larger calves/longer legs. They do not cover the length of my calf. The socks are warm and comfy. A little more compression would be nice as well.
Bought these as an 'Infusion Day' gift. He loved them. Nice feel, not flimsy, A+
My amazing mother loves these compression socks! She'll be 98 on December 4th. I highly recommend them, and the various patterns are awesome!
I wanted a cool looking compression Stocking and not the old looking granny kind of Ted’s and these are the ones. They help keep My BP in check bc I run low. I showed a few of the elders I take care of my new compression Stockings, guess what they are getting for Christmas from me lol. One suggestion, Can you make more in other colors like plain Red or black or white without words so I can wear them with other outfits? As knee highs with skirts?
I absolutely love them good quality especially the grips on the bottom.
I’m on my feet for long hours, and it’s non stop back and forth with patients. Everyone knows how their legs feel after a long shift. Dr. Socko keeps my legs from giving out. Cushion on bottom is a plus
I love these! At first glance, they look thick and unbreathable- BUT THEY ARE! Slipping these on defied all my expectations. They are super breathable, comfortable, AND my feet didn't hurt after a long day working on the floor.
I normally work as a recreational coordinator for those with profound disabilities, but I do get pulled to the floor on occasion when staffing doesn't meet ratio. I wore my pair of Chelsea Vessi's- probably not the best shoes to wear when working on the floor as a CNA. The compression socks is what kept me up and moving. They aren't too tight- which was always my problem in the past. Previous brands I tried were too tight and my legs often began to itch halfway through my shift due to lack of breathability.
As someone with varicose veins, finding socks that offer support without being too tight has been a challenge. These hit the sweet spot! I also love the fun designs—finally, a pair of compression socks that aren’t boring! I’m planning to buy more for my friends in healthcare.
I LOVE the fun designs! The compression is just right, though I’d love an even TIGHTER option for tough days. Overall, a great product
These socks are made with such comfortable and high quality material! I could wear them every day to work. My only complaint is that I wish I could order them with a higher compression. That is just my personal preference.
These compression socks are so comfortable! The last time I wore compression socks, my legs were hurting so bad by the end of my 12 hour shift. I decided to give these compression socks a go and I was not disappointed! My legs didn’t hurt at all, the foot part was thick but comfortable and the socks were pretty easy to pull up. I’m in love with these and will definitely be buying more pairs!
Material was soft and easy to get on, unlike regular compression socks! I wondered how much compression they have? Not going to answer that question yet. No binding/rolling behind the knees. The compression socks have been on for about 5 hours, no ankle edema and I’ve been on my feet most of the time! I am impressed with the amount of compression! Next question to answer how will my legs feel at the end of the day? Legs feel great! Much less feeling of muscle fatigue…even after working a 12 hour shift in a busy level 1 trauma ER! I will be buying 2 more pairs!
The socks feel smooth when putting them on. They are able to be pulled up with ease but then feel tight enough as a compression sock. The design feels perfect. They don't bunch in any specific place and are able to come up right behind my knee so they don't feel out of place there either. These socks, compared to other compression socks, don't feel as bulky. They don't feel too thick in the toes as some others tend to feel. I also noticed as I wore them throughout the day that they felt cool. They didn't feel hot, bulky, nor itchy. These socks feel like they have the perfect amount of compression to enhance circulation in the legs, which is good for long shifts or when on your feet for an extended amount of time. Honestly, they feel like a perfect little hug around my legs! :)
As a physical therapist, these are my NEW FAVORITE socks! Soft, breathable, and they don’t leave marks. So much easier to put on than other brands. Totally recommending them to my coworkers.
These socks feel good and do help over a long day on my feet. I find them a bit warm after a while which might work better in winter but a bit much in warm august and September. That said, I will definitely be using them at work during the cooler months! I’m a size 9 and the small/med size fit great!
Coming home from a 12 hour shift in the ER, I am a huge fan of the socks. They are super comfy. The cushioning at the bottom is wonderful.
Post a 12 hour shift at the hospital, these might be some of the best compression socks I've tried. They're really cushiony, so my feet feel supported and comfortable. My only critique is they might need to be tighter. They survived a 12 hour shift and kept me comfortable the whole time.
